For some years, Epoxy Resin laminating has been developed for sailing boats, this unique system provides a stronger stiffer lighter laminate than the usual polyester laminating systems

Fjord Motor boats have taken this advanced system and applied it to the new range of Fjord Motor boats. The advantages are considerable. Not only are these boats stiffer in the water, but as the laminate is lighter, the boat is faster, the performance is sharper and the fuel consuption is improved.

Another advantage of the stronger laminate is the inherantly greater resistance to impact damage. The benefit of this feature is a much tougher boat than a polyester boat, resulting in less chips and impact cracking, which will result in a longer life for the boat, and a better residual value when you come to trade up to a bigger Fjord!
